The drop-in check valve is a downhole inside blowout prevention tool used to prevent backflow of drilling fluids and debris into the drill string. It is designed for quick deployment by dropping directly into the drill string without requiring a trip out of the hole.
The valve incorporates a spring-loaded dart mechanism that closes automatically against backflow while allowing normal forward circulation of drilling fluids. It is available in multiple sizes to suit various drill pipe connections and operating pressures.
PetroZHR drop-in check valves conform to API standards and are suitable for standard service as well as H2S environments.
